Cherry Angiomas, reasons, and other characteristic
What is Cherry Angiomas?
Cherry angiomas (aka senile angiomas or Campbell de Morgan spot) are a cluster of small dilated blood vessels that develop in the top layer of the dermis. They are bright red in color; can be flat or raised with a dome shaped appearance; and can vary in size from pinpoint to 1cm. Depending on the location, raised or dome shaped cherry angiomas can bleed after trauma.
Cherry angiomas are common noncancerous lesions that start appearing in individuals that are around 30 years of age and develop in all skin tones. They commonly develop on the trunk and head but they can also appear on the upper and lower extremities.
What are the reasons for Cherry Angiomas?
There seems to be a genetic component with cherry angiomas because most individuals that develop them say their parents and/or grandparents had them. Individuals have a tendency to develop more cherry angiomas as they get older.
Cherry Angiomas growth fund on?
These growths, often found on the torso, arms, and shoulders, are typically painless and do not pose any health risks. However, their appearance might lead individuals to seek removal procedures. We can remove your cherry angiomas at the comfort of your home.

Ideal Treatment for Cherry Angiomas
Cherry angiomas can be treated by cautery, cutting them out or laser. Flat and small cherry angiomas respond well to cautery treatment and dome shaped cherry angiomas normally need to be cut out.
Cherry angiomas usually need to be retreated every few years. Mobile Skin Screening(MSS) offers cherry angioma removal using cautery and excision (cutting them out). Treatment is safe, not painful and only takes minutes to perform.
